Gubhani was established in 2008 by Lindiwe Nakedi, a black female born in Soweto. She changed the narrative in the mining industry, in the essence of being the only black female-owned and run exploration drilling company in South Africa. She understands the
importance of bringing value as a contractor and progressed trade by co-managing with a
qualified Geologist.
We occupy space through Exploration drilling by partnering with organisations that mine minerals such as coal, diamond, copper, chrome, nickel, gold etc.
We have enjoyed various accolades, with Gubhani being bestowed the 2020 "Standard
Bank Top Gender Empowered Companies" award and our MD emerging as one of "Top 100
Global Inspirational Women in Mining 2018" By WIM UK, amongst sixteen only selected
women in South Africa.
